Thelma Golden is speaking about iconographic arts and we can see that it’s very vast. It was so difficult for me to choose and I chose the second picture about a black man wearing a suit and who is barefoot. According to all the pictures I think that Thelma Golden is speaking about the story or the evolution of black community in USA. And I think that this picture is illustrating more  this idea because this man is He is dressed well, it’s show his lifestyle but he is barefoot ant that show that he don’t forget his origins and I chose this picture because a I like it, I this it’s very interesting and I’m sure that it’s contain an important meaning.

a.   a. According to Thelma Golden, the iconographic art could be didactic, indeed it address to various publics including children and illiterates who used images to inform themselves. Images could be coding and have an important meaning, it could immortalize a moment with the photograph, or imagine with the drawing... but it can also tell us about the past

b.   b. She speak about the role of a museum in a town and according to her it’s  shows the importance of a city more the city is important more the museum is big. In a museum there is the story of the city, it’s the best place to know the identity of a society. If someone want to look back he just must to go in a museum, it’s the cultural side. A museum can bring several people together thanks to their same culture.

But a museum could be very economic because a museum is visited and it brings in lot of money.

I agree with her because arts was always be important in the story of the world a book, a painting, or a music can have an important impact over the world that why in the Story there was the censure. Art permit to get knowledge and each artist has his style of work, his way of transmit us his message.

It is very important because it’s the goal of the author, transmit us a message but the way, the style is very important because is define each artist.

Art not have frontiers, in fact nowadays we can appreciate arts of another country.

An artist could discover himself in his art or express himself for example the Pinter Salvador Dally painted his paintings from his dreams   

Generally art is beautiful but not always.

superstitions

According to the video, if you love someone and if you put his picture on the wallpaper of you cell phone and no one see that during three weeks this person will love you, it’s called love charm. But I don’t believe it, it’s only a superstition...

When I was in school, I and my friends we thought that if we wrote the name of the teacher and we put a stone over the paper he’ll be ill and no came at school. We believed on it but we never done this because we afraid to made him seriously sick. When I think about this now it makes me laugh.

According to me, some of beliefs come from to the religion then it’s the need to believe in something

But here I think it’s more a superstition.

The speech

According to me this speech is about the woman in the society, Liza Donnelly demonstrate that since she born the woman is clasificated  that why she always need to prove that there is her place in this society. For example there are some women who want to be thin and fashion. Sometimes she do some things only for her family or for not be put on the fringes of society. According to Donnelly the fear of that reason motive the woman.  

I think that is true, women have too much responsibility even if men underestimate them. The place of the women has changed but is not better than there was few years. Before women was underestimated but helped by men, now it’s not the same.

I agree with Donnelly when she says that the meaning of humour change according to one’s culture because all countries of the world don’t have the same rules of life, the same manners, or the same mentality... And I think that humour is one collective thing and if you don’t understand you can’t appreciate the joke, as well the passage from a culture to another can change the meaning of the joke.
